For teen girls that get pregnant it is such a tragedy because they are not able to live their lives and accomplish the dreams that they had in store for themselves. While there are still some of those that do get to fulfill their dreams, having a child as a teenager only makes it harder and kids should not be having kids. Here a few Teenage pregnancy facts that should be considered:

2. For many girls that are trapped in poverty, having a baby seems to fulfill many empty feelings.
3. Most girls that get pregnant have a history of feeling deprived and neglected, having a baby gives them a sense of security know that their baby loves them.
4. African American teen girls are the highest group to give birth to babies is a teen; it has had a greater impact on the black community.
5. More than half of teen mothers were also born to a teen mother
6. The United States has the highest rate of teen pregnancy more than any other country.
7. Teen mothers are less likely to finish high school, and more likely to end up on welfare.
8. Teen mothers have a higher death rate than that of women over the age of 20 while give birth.
9. Babies born to teen mothers have a higher risk of multiple health problems.
